Can the hand blender crush ice?
Yes, our hand blenders are equipped with heavy-duty steel blades which can easily crush ice.
Can I blend hot ingredients with the hand blender?
Yes, you can process hot ingredients with our hand blenders. However, it is highly advisable to not fill up the blending jug too much as hot liquid can easily spill out.
Is my blender dishwasher-safe?
Our blenders do have dishwasher-safe parts. However, it can vary from product to product and so, you can find more information on individual product pages.
Can I process hard foods in the chopper?
Braun chopper works with most ingredients such as meat, cheese, onions, herbs, garlic, chilis (with water), carrots, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds and prunes. Very hard ingredients such as ice cubes, coffee beans, grains or nutmeg are not suitable for a chopper. It is also advisable that you use the highest speed setting when processing hard ingredients.
Is the food processor BPA-free?
All materials and accessories that come into contact with food are BPA-free.
Do I need to peel the fruits before using the juicer?
You do not need to peel the fruits to extract their juice using the juicer as all the pulp and peels will be collected separately. However, it is advisable to remove any seeds or stones beforehand.
What is the Pulse function on the food processor?
The pulse function on our food processors delivers short bursts of power at the optimum speed to help you control how long you run the machine and avoid over-processing your ingredients.
Why won’t my food chopper turn on?
The safety lock on the chopper may not be fully engaged which may be preventing the chopper from operating. Ensure that the bowl and lid are in the correct position.
How do I prepare ingredients before blending?
Using our hand blenders does not require too much preparation as they are equipped with heavy-duty blades and a powerful motor. However, it is advisable that you do not overfill the jug or use very large pieces of ingredients.
What speed should I use for which ingredients?
You do not require several speeds for your needs. However, generally, it is better to use higher speeds for harder ingredients and lower speeds for softer ingredients.
